Commitments and Responsibilities of Client and Coach
We want you to be satisfied with your coach and the coaching process. For this reason, it is important to know your responsibilities as a client as well as the coach’s commitment to you. While some of our coaching programs may have additional responsibilities that are listed in the coaching contract, listed below are the responsibilities and commitments that are common to them all.
Your Commitment and Responsibilities
- You will commit to engaging in the process and keeping scheduled appointments either by phone, Skype or in person (in the Nashville, Tenn. area).
- You will commit to setting goals for yourself with your coach.
- You will commit to believing in yourself and your self-worth.
- You will commit to a better way of life for yourself.
- You will commit to reporting weekly progress and challenges.
Your Coach’s Commitment and Responsibilities
- Presence. Your coach will actively listen in order to understand the challenges and possibilities of your current situation.
- Privacy. Your coach will respect your information with privacy and discretion.
- Belief. Your coach will believe in you and the goals you set for yourself.
- Compassion. Recognizing that this is not an easy process, your coach will relate to you with compassion and affirmation.
- Agenda. Your coach will follow YOUR agenda for yourself.
- Accountability. Your coach will hold you accountable for your tasks and deadlines.
- Vision Carrier. Your coach will uphold your vision of your best self.
You have a right to be treated with respect and, in turn, to treat your coach with respect. If at any point during the coaching process you are not happy with the coaching you are receiving, we welcome your feedback. We invite you to discuss this matter with your coach. If you are not comfortable speaking directly with your coach, you may send an email to LifeCoaching@Centerstone.org and share your grievance. All grievances will be handled in a timely matter that is respectful of both you and your coach.
